Contemporary  Jewelry 
          Inspired  By  the  Colors  of  the  Southwest

GREEN FEATHER DESIGNS is all about the creation of contemporary jewelry using the beautiful rich colors of the Southwest region of the United States. 

All these one-of-a-kind pieces are meant to be whimsical and casual, using a touch of the Southwest for color inspiration.  I tend to use mostly natural elements in these truly individual pieces of jewelry, such as turquoise, coral, other semi-precious gemstones, including jasper, tourmaline, jade, feldspar, onyx, serpentine, quartz and aventurine.  I also have been doing some work with some fossil stones from northern Michigan called Petoskey stones.  All of these pieces are embellished with copper and/or silver.

My name is Arlene Paxton, and I am hoping that the woman who chooses to wear my jewelry feels unique and special knowing that each piece is custom and handcrafted by me.  This is just a small representation of the many pieces of jewelry that are available, and new pieces are added to this site all the time.  You can send me an email if you see a piece that you like, or if you would like me to design a special necklace or pair of earrings for you.
